This is a faithful photorealistic remake of the 1994 animated classic. It follows the same epic story of Simba, the lion cub who flees his kingdom after the murder of his father, Mufasa, by his uncle Scar. After a carefree exile with friends Timon and Pumbaa, he is confronted by his childhood friend Nala and the shaman Rafiki to remember his responsibility and return to challenge Scar's tyrannical rule, reclaiming his destiny as king.
